TIC – TOCK
Tic – tock the sound of the clock
The time is now.
There is no past or future time.
The past is only a memory.
The future will be a memory.
The time is now.
GOD is now.
Our Father, Redeemer, Spirit
Worship Him,
Praise Him
Now is the time.
You’ve got the time
Forgive, Love
Now is the time
Tic – Tock
The time is NOW.

Very Nice,
Alice
A beautiful thought. Having taught World Religions I see how it might well unite East and West if we got rid of the theological debte. Minus that I can hear it affirmed by the Delhi Lama. In Buddhism the time is always now!
The experience of the Buddah-nature morally obligaes us to transcend self-interest in order to safeguard the interests of others. It compels us to live compassionately creatively and responsibly in each moment. This provides a shortcut to conflict resolution and forgiveness because what happens in the past remains in the past as the stream of our lives flows onward to new moments of opportunity. The real enemy is not the opponent but your own mind that in Buddhist meditation is transcended. No self means literally no self opposed to some other. We are free of self concern to be compassionate to all other sentient beings and to nature itself with each tick of the clock. I often said if I were not a Christian I could easily be a Buddhist. The teachings of Buddha and our Christ have so much in common. If only the world could open its ears to the peace that is truly possible in moments when we live beyond self. Merry Christmas to all! Dick
