Rain • Tears • Sadness • Joy
Growing up, summer rain was such a great event for all of us. Running and jumping in the puddles, waiting for the sun and wishing for a rainbow! The rain and the beautiful rainbow were always so fascinating. Always wondering where the rain came from; what made the rainbow. As the years go by and I learn all the information about weather, it’s not as much fun for me, as it was growing up. I still wonder if the rain is God’s tears. Is He full of sadness because of all the sin, the evil and turmoil on earth? Could it be that the rainbow is a sign from God to let His light and all colors into your life?? Maybe there will be a time when the rain will be God’s tears of joy! We all need to put our fears of other colors, races, differences, opinions, and beliefs aside. Then, and only then, will God’s tears be tears of joy, as well as our own! Everybody may never love everyone, but at least they should respect their differences! Never be afraid to let the tears fall; it’s not a sign of weakness.
